What is it?
Massage has been known and used for thousands of years. From ancient China to present day Europe it has been used for the promotion and restoration of health and is one of the most natural ways of keeping the body free from stress and illness.
Holistic massage is a variant of Swedish massage. Holistic means considering the complete person, mind, body and spirit and the balance within oneself. When the body is allowed to relax it can begin to heal itself, whether it’s on a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level.
Regular massage treatments prevent many common ailments and symptoms of stress such as headaches, insomnia, anxiety, repetitive strain injuries and general fatigue. Regular massage can also ease or even diminish aches and pains in the body. In the long term this will let you manage stressful situations easier and clear your mind of negative feelings to instead allow positive ones to come flooding in.

Holistic massage is adapted to the needs of each client. To make sure your treatment is designed specifically for you, I will ask you to fill out a questionnaire before I proceed with the treatment. This is also your time to tell me if you prefer a lighter massage or if you would like more pressure for deep muscle work and any other concerns you might have.
